ETA:
Two Wu-tang Clan affiliates, DJ Allah Mathematics and Streetlife, were arrested Monday night after cops found drugs on their tour bus. TMZ.com is reporting that the two were pulled over for a routine traffic stop, but when officers opened the door "the bus was filled with smoke and the odor of marijuana," according to the police report. Upon further investigation, authorities found several blunts and residue "in plain sight." Additionally 110 ecstacy pills were uncovered plus $8,615 in cash.
Mathematics, whose real name is Patrick Charles, and Streetlife, born Ronald Bean, were arrested on suspicion of drug possession with the intent to distribute alongside six other men who were busted on the bus. The bus driver however was only given a speeding ticket.
The two are best known for their work with fellow Wu members Method Man, GZA and Ghostface Killah. Mathematics produced Ghostface's 'Mighty Healthy' album, released in 2000. Streetlife was signed to Meth's record label and made his debut appearance on his 1994 album 'Tical.' He has since appeared on several songs with the rapper, they released the album 'Back to Back: Raw and Uncut,' in 2008.

| Sienna Miller sets foot outside, is perfection |
[Nov. 10th, 2009|11:52 pm] |

An avid fan of dog walking, Sienna Miller was spotted out and about in New York City taking her pooch for a stroll today (November 10).
The “Hippie Hippie Shake” actress looked urban hip as she led her pup pal around the neighborhood, sporting a white top with dark wash jeans and black heels.

( so much hotness )
You can dislike her if you want but you can't deny she is utterly beautiful. The pictures of her hair in her face. Drooooooool.

( No bridesmaids' dresses to make fun of, sorry )
I wondered what happened to her. One of the great forgotten sets of Hollywood breasts. Mmmm mmm mmmm.
Edit: NO the old guy is not the groom. TELL YOUR BEST WEDDING STORIES, ONTD!

Owl City Pretty Much Admit Ripping Off Postal Service
In an interview with EW, Adam Young (aka laptop sensation Owl City) admits his no. 1 single "Fireflies" and the Postal Service in general "are pretty similar," but at the same time claims he's "a lot more of a Death Cab fan." For example, he'd only heard Give Up "a little bit" before people started pointing out the pilfering:
I've become more of a fan having started Owl City, actually. I had some friends in high school that would have it playing in their cars and stuff. It was cool, but it never really caught my ear. It's kind of ironic, looking back at it, because a lot of people do relate the two projects. I can totally see it now, but I didn't really then, for what it's worth.
It's worth a lot, now that you've sold over 100,000 fireflies. There's more. In the form of an unintentional punchline.
Via EW: EW: A lot of people wish they would put out another album. Is that something you would look forward to hearing?
ADAM YOUNG: I think [Give Up] left everyone asking, "What are they going to do next?" Since no one has done anything quite like it, it's almost like everyone is naturally saying this is the next step -- maybe that's me, maybe that's this record.
Maybe. |
